Using this piezo vibration sensor is easy. First, use the solder pins to mount it vertically. To detect vibrations or 'tap' inputs, just place it in the area where you want to sense the activity. If you get a large voltage output (up to +/-90V), connect a simple resistor to bring the voltage down to ADC levels. When using it for impact sensing or as a flexible switch, make sure the sensor is securely mounted. As for maintenance, keep it away from extreme temperatures and moisture.
