Product Details

The E Style motor mount is a great addition to your Actobotics toolkit. It attaches to the inside of Actobotics channels, working seamlessly with both standard and precision gear motors. This unique feature lets you drive shafts through the channels effortlessly. The mount has different hole patterns for your motor and a 1.5' hole pattern for easy connection to other Actobotics products. Made from tough 6061 - T6 aluminum, it's strong yet lightweight, weighing only 0.35oz. Actobotics is a versatile robotics building system with extruded aluminum channels, gears, precision shafts, and ball bearings. With two standardized hole patterns, most Actobotics components can be easily connected. This wide - ranging system makes it possible to build complex electromechanical prototypes or finished projects. Each package includes 1 E Style motor mount and 4 3mm mount screws. You'll also get access to a Sketchup File and the Product Page (555188).

Using the E Style motor mount is a breeze. First, find the inside of your Actobotics channel. Attach the motor mount to it using the 3mm mount screws that come with the package. Then, choose your standard or precision gear motor and connect it to the mount using the appropriate hole pattern. If you want to connect it to other Actobotics products, use the 1.5' hole pattern. When handling the mount, be gentle as it's made of lightweight aluminum. Avoid dropping it on hard surfaces to prevent any dents or scratches. To maintain it, just wipe it with a clean, dry cloth every now and then. Keep it in a dry place to avoid rusting, and you'll be able to use it for a long time in your robotics projects.
