Product Details

The SCD41 by Sensirion is a top - notch photoacoustic CO₂ sensor. It can detect CO₂ levels from 0 to 40000ppm with high accuracy, especially between 400 - 5000ppm (±(40ppm + 5%)). It comes with built - in temperature and humidity sensing to boost accuracy and can also accept ambient pressure readings. We've developed an Arduino library, easily downloadable via the Arduino Library manager. Just search for 'SparkFun SCD4x' or find it in the Documents tab. Note that the SCD41 has an automatic self - calibration routine. Sensirion suggests 7 days of continuous readings with at least 1 hour of 'fresh air' daily for self - calibration. This is an experimental SparkX product. These items are tested but have no guarantees and no live technical support. Visit our forum for help. The product also comes with useful documents like the SCD41 Datasheet, Schematic, Eagle Files, Arduino Library, and Hardware repo.

Using the SCD41 sensor is quite easy. First, if you're using an Arduino, download the 'SparkFun SCD4x' library through the Arduino Library manager. This will let you easily read CO₂, humidity, and temperature data. As for self - calibration, make sure to keep the sensor taking continuous readings for 7 days, with at least 1 hour of exposure to fresh air each day. This will help it calibrate itself accurately. Remember, this is an experimental product, so there are no guarantees. If you run into any problems, don't expect live technical support. Instead, head over to the forum to ask for help. For maintenance, keep the sensor in a clean environment and follow the instructions in the SCD41 Datasheet. You can also refer to the Schematic, Eagle Files, and Hardware repo for more in - depth information about the product's structure and how it works.
