Due to popular demand, we're now offering the plates from the ARDX separately. Our acrylic plate is engraved and precisely cut right at the Adafruit factory. It features mounting holes for your Arduino and a well - designed space that perfectly fits a half - sized breadboard. Please note, this plate does not fit the Arduino Mega. Each set comes with a 3mm thick plastic plate with engravings, 2 x 4 - 40 3/8' machine screws to attach your Arduino, 4 x 4 - 40 hex nuts, and 4 x rubber bumpers to prevent the board from slipping off your worktable. Using this plastic mounting plate is easy. First, place your Arduino on the plate and use the 2 x 4 - 40 3/8' machine screws and 4 x 4 - 40 hex nuts to attach it firmly. Then, fit your half - sized breadboard into the dedicated space. The rubber bumpers at the bottom of the plate will keep it stable on your worktable. Remember, this plate won't work with the Arduino Mega, so don't try to force it. To maintain the plate, just use a dry cloth to wipe off any dust or debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they may damage the engravings on the plate.
