If music is the food of love, keep the tunes playing! Enhance your Raspberry Pi audio experience with this amazing little pHAT DAC. It's a super - affordable yet high - quality DAC for your Raspberry Pi. This device pumps out 24 - bit audio at 192KHz from the Raspberry Pi's I2S interface on the 2x20 pin GPIO header. As it's digital audio, it sounds far better than the onboard analog audio. The 3.5mm stereo jack is already soldered onto the board. Designed to match the Raspberry Pi Zero, it's also compatible with all 40 - pin GPIO Raspberry Pi variants (2/B+/A+). Key features include 24 - bit audio at 192KHz, a line - out stereo jack, a pHAT - format board, and it uses the PCM5102A DAC to work with the Raspberry Pi I2S interface. The kit comes with an assembled pHAT DAC and a 2x20 0.1' female GPIO header. Some light soldering is needed to attach the header, or you can solder the pHAT directly onto the Pi Zero. At its core is Texas Instrument's PCM5102A stereo audio DAC chip. Note: Raspberry Pi is not included!

Using this Pimoroni pHAT DAC is easy. First, decide whether you want to solder the 2x20 0.1' female GPIO header onto the board or solder the pHAT directly onto your Raspberry Pi Zero. If you're new to soldering, take your time and be careful. Once it's connected, your Raspberry Pi is ready to output high - quality audio. To play audio, just use your normal media - playing apps on the Raspberry Pi. When it comes to maintenance, keep the device in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If there's dust on the board, you can use a soft brush to gently clean it. Remember, the Raspberry Pi itself is not included, so make sure you have one to use this DAC.
