Pogo Pins Spear Head (10 pack) [P75-LM3]

Pogo pins are small spring-loaded contacts that are incredibly useful. They're great for making jigs or creating momentary but solid electrical contacts. We use lots of them for programming and testing jigs. They're also handy if you want to JTAG program a board where you can't solder headers - just insert these thin contacts into a 0.1' pitch IDC programming cable and press it onto the contacts. These pins are ideal as they're thin enough to fit into most proto boards or perf boards. They have a 1.0mm/0.04' diameter gold body, and the spring contact head is 1.5mm (0.06') wide. Using these pogo pins is easy. For programming or testing jigs, just place the pins where you need them. If you're JTAG programming a board without solderable headers, insert the thin contacts into a 0.1' pitch IDC programming cable and press it onto the contacts. When using, be careful not to bend the pins too much as it may affect their performance. For maintenance, keep them clean and dry. If they get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft cloth. Store them in a dry place to prevent rusting.
