Product Details

The H3LIS200DL is an amazing ultra low-power (down to 10uA) and low noise 3-axis accelerometer. It offers user-selectable scales of ±100g or ±200g and can measure accelerations with output data rates from 0.5Hz to 1kHz. This device comes with two programmable independent interrupt engines that can recognize specific inertial events, adding more fun to its use. Key features include a selectable large scale range of ±100g/±200g, two programmable interrupts, and a smart sleep-to-wake-up function for advanced power saving. Applications are wide-ranging, such as high-speed impact detection and recording, free-fall detection, and automobile collision tests. Specifications include an operating voltage of 3.3 V, an operating current as low as 10uA in low-power mode and 0.3mA - 0.4mA in normal mode, an I2C/SPI interface, a default I2C address of 0x19 (0x18 selectable), selectable scales of ±100g/±200g, a frequency range of 0.5Hz - 1KHz, 8-bit data output, an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C, 10000 g high shock survivability, ECOPACK® RoHS and “Green” compliance, and dimensions of 15*20 (mm) or 0.59*0.79”. The shipping list includes one Fermion: H3LIS200DL Triple Axis Accelerometer (Breakout) and two 2.54-4P Black Single Row Pin Headers.

Using the Fermion: H3LIS200DL Triple Axis Accelerometer is quite straightforward. First, connect it to your device using the I2C or SPI interface as per your need. Make sure to set the correct I2C address according to your configuration. When powering it, use a 3.3 V power supply. You can choose between the ±100g or ±200g scale depending on your measurement requirements. For power saving, take advantage of the smart sleep-to-wake-up function. When it comes to maintenance, keep it in a clean and dry environment within the operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C. Avoid subjecting it to shocks beyond its 10000 g high shock survivability limit. If you encounter any issues, refer to the product wiki for more detailed information.
