The kit includes a Pi Zero W, an Unicorn pHAT with 32 programmable RGB Neopixel LEDs, male and female 2x20 pin headers, a white and yellow pendant light stand and diffuser, a 50cm USB A to micro-B cable, a USB A (female) to USB OTG adapter, a mini to full-size HDMI adapter, a sticker sheet to personalize your Mood Light, and it comes in a reusable kit box. The Mood Light uses the popular Unicorn pHAT board with 32 programmable RGB Neopixel LEDs, offering a rainbow of color options. The stand cleverly mounts the Pi Zero W and Unicorn pHAT at the perfect angle to cast light through the pendant light cutout and diffuse it beautifully. The built-in wireless LAN on the Pi Zero W opens up lots of possibilities. You can connect it to your Twitter feed to track tweet moods or fade through sunset and sunrise colors after getting the daily times from your favorite weather server. Key features include an 8x4 matrix of programmable RGB Neopixel LEDs, a 3-layer white and yellow pendant light stand and diffuser, a Pi Zero W with a single core CPU, built-in wireless LAN and Bluetooth, an adaptor kit, a 50cm USB A to micro-B cable to power your Pi from an existing charger or computer, a Python library, and note that the female and male headers require soldering.

Using your Pimoroni Mood Light is easy. First, assemble the kit. You'll need to add your own micro - SD card and USB power supply. The assembly should take around 30 minutes, and you can refer to Pimoroni's assembly guide. Once it's assembled, power it on using the 50cm USB A to micro - B cable. You can set the light to a single color or have it fade through the rainbow. To use the built - in wireless LAN on the Pi Zero W, connect it to your Wi - Fi network. You can then connect it to your Twitter feed or pull sunset/sunrise times from a weather server. When it comes to maintenance, keep the light in a dry place. If you notice any dust on the diffuser or enclosure, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Remember, the female and male headers require soldering during assembly, so be careful if you're not experienced with soldering. And don't forget to have fun personalizing your Mood Light with the sticker sheet!
