Mini 3-wire Volt Meter (0 - 99.9VDC)

With this incredibly useful display, you can place a voltage meter anywhere. RC hobbyists often use these to monitor battery levels, but we think it's perfect for breadboards or enclosures. This is the 3-wire version of the volt meter. Two wires power it, and the third is for measurement. We also offer a 2-wire version that measures its own power supply. Simply connect the red wire to a 4.5 - 28VDC positive power supply, and the brown or black wire to the common ground to power the display. Then, connect the orange or white wire to the item whose voltage you want to measure. The display features a microcontroller that reads the voltage, compares it to a stable reference, and shows the voltage with 0.1V precision on a 3-digit 7-segment display. It can measure from 0V to 99.9VDC, making it ideal for any electronic project! The meter uses 3 - 4mA to power the microcontroller and display. This LED display has a vivid green color, which is very easy to read. Mounting tabs make it simple to attach this module to any box or plate.

Using this handy volt meter is a breeze. First, find a 4.5 - 28VDC positive power supply and connect the red wire to it. Then, connect the brown or black wire to the common ground to power up the display. Next, take the orange or white wire and connect it to whatever you want to measure the voltage of. That's it! You'll see the voltage reading on the vivid green 3 - digit 7 - segment display. Remember, this meter can measure voltages from 0V to 99.9VDC, so it's great for many electronic projects. As for maintenance, keep it away from excessive moisture and extreme temperatures. If you notice any issues, check the wire connections first. Also, the meter draws 3 - 4mA, so make sure your power supply can handle that. With the mounting tabs, you can easily attach it to a box or plate, but be careful not to bend the tabs while installing.
