Product Details

The LulzBot Mini is a small yet powerful 3D printer that's a breeze to use. Despite its compact size, it can produce almost any object you imagine. It offers the same great features as the Taz 4, ensuring consistent, high - quality prints. With a self - balancing 152mm x 152mm x 158mm (6in x 6in x 6.2in) print area and a controllable heat bed, it's perfect for small to medium - sized items. LulzBot users have a wide range of filament options. Besides common plastics like PLA, ABS, and HIPS, you can use exotic materials such as wood and bronze/copper filled filaments. All LulzBot products are Libre/Open Source Hardware. This means you can embrace the latest 3D printing technology, use your preferred modeling software, and experiment with new accessories. You have the freedom to download and print upgrades and replacement parts, and customize your printer as you like. Note that currently, printing NinjaFlex and other flexible filaments isn't possible with the LulzBot Mini, and it only comes with a 1 - meter HIPS sample filament. The printer has overall dimensions of 435mm x 340mm x 385mm (17.1in x 13.4in x 15.2in) and weighs 8.55kg (18.85lbs). Its features include a 100 - 240 VAC power requirement, a heated borosilicate glass bed covered with PEI film, a top print speed of 275mm/sec at 0.18 layer height, and support for a wide variety of materials. It comes with many useful items like a power cord, USB cable, and a quick - start guide. There are also several important documents available for your reference.

Using the LulzBot Mini 3D Printer is easy. First, unpack all the items included in the box, like the printer, power cord, USB cable, and others. Connect the power cord to a 100 - 240 VAC power source and use the USB cable to link the printer to your computer. Load the 3D model you want to print onto the USB drive and insert it into the printer. Select the appropriate filament type from the supported materials list, such as ABS or PLA. Remember, currently, you can't use NinjaFlex and other flexible filaments. The printer has a heated borosilicate glass bed covered with PEI film. Make sure the bed is clean before starting a print job. You can use the wiping pads included in the package. Set the layer thickness according to your needs, which can range from 0.05mm to 0.50mm. The top print speed is 275mm/sec at 0.18 layer height, but you can adjust it as required. When the print is done, use the dental pick, part removal knife, and tweezers to carefully remove the printed object from the bed. For maintenance, keep the printer in a clean and dry place. After each use, clean the extruder and the print bed. You can download and print replacement parts and upgrades from the available sources as the LulzBot products are Libre/Open Source Hardware. Just be aware that the printer only comes with a 1 - meter HIPS sample filament, so you'll need to purchase more filaments for future prints.
