Nomad Low Profile Vise

The Nomad Low Profile Vise is a compact workholding accessory designed specifically for the Nomad 883 Pro. Every vise is meticulously crafted in-house at Carbide 3D from scratch. It comes with all the necessary components to attach it to your Nomad. With this vise, you can effortlessly take on miniature and small silhouette milling projects. It has a maximum clamping width of 6.5in (~165mm), measures only 8in (~203mm) in length and 2in (~50mm) in width, enabling you to mill and fabricate unique objects with ease.

Using the Nomad Low Profile Vise is straightforward. First, attach it to your Nomad 883 Pro using the included components. Make sure it's securely fastened. When clamping your workpiece, place it between the jaws and turn the handle gently until it's firmly held. For best results, ensure the workpiece is centered. As for maintenance, keep the vise clean after each use. Wipe off any debris or dust. Periodically lubricate the moving parts to keep them functioning smoothly. Avoid over - tightening the vise as it may damage the jaws or the workpiece. Also, store the vise in a dry place to prevent rusting.
