Product Details

The Chibi Scope is a nifty little device with a 1.3 - inch diagonal OLED screen. It acts as an oscilloscope to help you peek into the inner workings of your Chibi Chip. This triple - threat gadget combines three functions - text, volts, and wave - all in one. Connect it to your circuit using the included alligator clips. Just wire up +5V, GND, and TXT, and you're good to go. The first two pads are for power, and the third is for analog/text input, with a max 3.3V signal/logic. It connects to your Chibi Chip's 'TXT' output. Use the default 'text' mode to debug, show sensor values, or code text - based events. Switch to 'volts' mode to check your battery level, just like a multimeter. Press the button again for 'wave' mode, which shows the voltage shape over time, similar to an oscilloscope. Note that the Chibi Scope is sold separately from the Chibi Chip and Chibi Clip, but we have them in stock. It can display serial text at 9600 baud and works with many development boards like Raspberry Pis and Arduinos. The kit includes a Chibi Scope display and 3 alligator cables.

Using the Chibi Scope is easy. First, connect it to your circuit with the included alligator clips. Attach the +5V and GND pads for power and the TXT pad for analog or text input. Remember, the max signal/logic for the input is 3.3V. If you want to debug or show sensor values, use the 'text' mode. To check your battery level, switch to 'volts' mode. Press the button again to enter 'wave' mode and see the voltage shape over time. The Chibi Scope is sold separately from the Chibi Chip and Chibi Clip, so you can buy them together if you need. It also works with other development boards like Raspberry Pis and Arduinos at 9600 baud. When not in use, keep it in a dry place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If the screen gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
