Keypad - 12 Button

This 12-button keypad is designed for effortless user input. The buttons are arranged in a matrix, enabling a microcontroller to 'scan' 7 output pins to detect which button is pressed. Each of the 12 buttons is labeled 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, *, and #, following a telephone keypad layout. Keypress resistance ranges from 10 to 150 Ohms. We've updated the pin-out, which you can find in the Documents tab above.

Using this 12-button keypad is simple. Just press the button you need, and the microcontroller will detect it. Make sure to check the updated pin - out in the Documents tab when connecting it. When using, avoid pressing the buttons too hard to prevent damage. Keep it in a dry and clean place. If it gets dirty, you can use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the surface.
