Product Details

This is the updated version of the Gravity Analog 50A Current Sensor (AC/DC). The previous version (V1) has been retired. Grab this low - power current sensor to monitor your project continuously, which helps save energy and protect the circuit! The fully integrated Hall Effect - based linear STK - 600/M current sensor precisely measures both AC and DC currents up to 50A. Its copper conductor's thickness ensures the device can survive high over - current conditions. The STK - 600/M outputs an analog voltage signal that changes linearly with the sensed current. The input and output are designed as through - hole vias and slots, enabling you to solder thick electrical wires and use T - shaped connectors easily. The board clearly labels the input power polarity, so you can conveniently solder wires or use metal alligator clips for electrical connections. This current sensor has enhanced heat dissipation and circuit - protection functions. It's perfect for motor control, load detection & management, aeromodelling, and robot over - current detection. Features include a Gravity interface, compatibility with aeromodelling T - shaped plugs, the ability to measure both AC and DC currents, isolated current measurement, a low current impedance of 0.08mΩ, a low - hysteresis magnetic core, and immunity to magnet wire, external magnetic fields, and the geomagnetic field. Specification details: Operating Voltage is 5V, Signal Type is Analog, Withstand Voltage in Measuring is 50V(AC) / 120V(DC), Current Measurement Range is from - 50A to 50A, Signal Bandwidth is 120kHz, Response Time is 4.6μs, Operating Temperature ranges from - 40℃ to 125℃, and the Dimension is 32×42mm/1.26×1.65'. Documents include the Wiki and STK - 600 Datasheet. The shipping list contains one Gravity: Analog Current Sensor 50A (AC/DC) and one Gravity 3P Connector.

Using this current sensor is quite straightforward. First, connect the power supply with the correct polarity as labeled on the board. You can solder wires or use metal alligator clips for the connection. For measuring current, connect your circuit to the input and output through - hole vias or slots, and you can use thick electrical wires or T - shaped connectors. When it comes to using it in aeromodelling, just plug it into the T - shaped plug. During operation, make sure the operating voltage is 5V. Don't exceed the current measurement range of - 50A to 50A, and the withstand voltage of 50V(AC) / 120V(DC). The sensor can work in a temperature range from - 40℃ to 125℃, so avoid using it in extremely high or low - temperature environments. To maintain the sensor, keep it clean and dry. If there is dust or debris, use a soft brush to clean it gently. Check the connections regularly to ensure they are secure. And always refer to the STK - 600 Datasheet for more detailed information.
