Product Details

The DFRobot URM09 ultrasonic sensor is an excellent choice for fast ranging and obstacle avoidance applications. With a measuring frequency of up to 50Hz, it offers quick and reliable performance. It features built - in temperature compensation and I2C communication. You can choose from three measurement ranges: 150cm, 300cm, and 500cm. Remember, a shorter range means a shorter ranging cycle and lower sensitivity, so set it according to your needs. The on - board LDO helps prevent performance attenuation within the power supply range. Specification details: Supply Voltage is 3.3 - 5.5V DC, Operating Current is 20mA, Operating Temperature Range is - 10℃ to + 70℃, Measurement Range is 2cm - 500cm (adjustable), Resolution is 1cm, Accuracy is 1%, Frequency maxes at 50Hz, and Dimension is 47mm × 22 mm (1.85”× 0.87”). Check out the product wiki for more information.

Using the DFRobot URM09 ultrasonic sensor is easy. First, make sure to connect it to a power source with a voltage between 3.3V and 5.5V DC. Once powered, it will start working. You can set the measurement range according to your application. If you need a quick reading, a shorter range might be better, but it comes with lower sensitivity. When using it, keep the operating temperature between - 10℃ and + 70℃ to ensure optimal performance. For maintenance, keep the sensor clean and free from dust. Avoid exposing it to extreme conditions. If you have any further questions, refer to the product wiki.
