This 16mm yellow/orange illuminated momentary button is a perfect choice. It's great as a power button for our Picade X HAT or when you need a small illuminated button. Using this button is easy. You can install it in panels up to about 10mm thick. First, make sure to drill a 16mm hole in the panel. Then, fit the button into the hole and use the screw - fit design to secure it. The button is a momentary switch, which means it only stays on when you press it. When connecting the wires, use the 2.8mm spade connectors for both the switch and the LED. Be careful to connect the LED according to the polarity marked on the underside of the switch. Also, always use a suitable current - limiting resistor for the LED to avoid damage. To maintain the button, keep it clean and dry. Don't use harsh chemicals on it. If it gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
