Product Details

The S1315F SMD IC is a compact 65-channel GPS module perfect for a wide variety of OEM products. It offers fast and easy system integration with minimal development risk. All you need to do is supply a DC power of 3.0V to 3.6V and a GPS signal, and it will output navigation data in the standard NMEA - 0183 protocol format. During our last inventory check, we found quite a number of these modules. Since we don't use them on our boards, we're offering them at a significantly reduced price. This is a great chance to get your hands on this useful little IC. Note that this product is in our 'Ding & Dent' category. Once it's out of stock, we won't restock it. So, grab them while you can! The S1315F has amazing features. It has a 65 - Channel GPS L1 C/A Code, can perform 8 million time - frequency hypothesis tests per second. It has a super - fast 1 - second open - sky hot start and a 29 - second open - sky cold start. With a cold start sensitivity of - 148dBm and tracking sensitivity of - 161dBm, it's very sensitive. It can detect and suppress multipath, has an accuracy of 2.5m CEP, a maximum update rate of 10Hz, and a tracking current of about 28mA. It supports both active and passive antennas, and its firmware is customizable. It can operate in temperatures ranging from - 40 to +85°C. The product also comes with a datasheet for more detailed information.

Using the S1315F GPS Receiver Module is easy. First, connect it to a power source that provides a DC power between 3.0V and 3.6V. Then, make sure it has access to a GPS signal. Once you've done these two things, the module will start working and output navigation data in the standard NMEA - 0183 protocol format. As for the antenna, you can use either an active or a passive one according to your needs. When it comes to maintenance, there's not much you need to do. Just keep it in an environment where the temperature is between - 40°C and +85°C. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures as this may affect its performance. Also, since this product is from our 'Ding & Dent' category, once we run out of stock, we won't restock it. So, if you think you'll need it in the future, it's a good idea to get it now. Refer to the datasheet for more in - depth details about the module's operation and performance.
