Product Details

The DFRobot FireBeetle series presents low - power microcontrollers crafted for Internet of Things (IoT) development. This Bluetooth controller combines Bluetooth Low Energy 4.1 with an Arduino - based controller. It offers similar features to the previous Bluno series but consumes less power. The FireBeetle BLE 4.1 is compatible with the Bluno series (BLE 4.0) and performs significantly better. It's equipped with a more stable DIALOG Bluetooth 4.1 chip, supporting a maximum 4Kbyte/s transmission rate and ultra - low power consumption (25uA in POWER DOWN mode). Ideal for low - power applications like wearables and intelligent tools. It supports multiple Bluetooth cascade, KISS connection (approach connection), and is fully compatible with the Bluno series. Connect it by holding the host BOOT and moving it close to the target peripheral device. Key features include support for Arduino IDE programming, BLE 4.1 central and peripheral switching, Bluetooth serial port data transmission, peer - to - peer (P2P) wireless programming, and more. With a range of specifications such as an ATMEGA328P processor, it meets various IoT development needs. Also, it comes with documents like product wiki for further reference.

Using the DFRobot FireBeetle Board - 328P with BLE 4.1 is easy. First, if you're programming it, open the Arduino IDE and select the appropriate board settings. For Bluetooth functions, it can switch between central and peripheral modes. To connect devices, use the KISS connection method by holding the host BOOT and moving it close to the target device. When it comes to power, you can use USB charging or a 3.7V lithium battery. Be careful not to exceed the maximum charge current of 400mA or the maximum discharge current of 600mA. Keep it in a dry and cool place to maintain its performance. If you need to update the Bluetooth firmware, follow the instructions in the product wiki. Check the status LEDs to know the board's working state. With proper use and maintenance, this board will serve you well in your IoT projects.
