Are you in need of some indicators? We're huge fans of these diffused white LEDs, just like those in the LoL shield. They're incredibly bright, visible during the day from any angle. These LEDs fit easily into a breadboard, adding a special touch to your project. Each pack contains 25 diffused white LEDs with a 3mm diameter. They operate at a forward voltage of 3.0 - 3.4V with a 20mA current and have a brightness of 500+ mcd. The LEDs usually have a color temperature around 5000K, though there might be slight batch - to - batch variations. Using these LEDs is easy. First, make sure your project's power supply matches the LED's forward voltage of 3.0 - 3.4V at 20mA current. Then, gently insert the LEDs into a breadboard. You'll notice they're really bright and can be seen well during the day. When handling, be careful not to bend the leads too much as it might damage the LED. Store them in a cool, dry place to keep them in good condition. If you want consistent color temperature, it's best to use LEDs from the same bag.
