Product Details

Introducing the DeskPi Lite, a brand - new case for the Raspberry Pi 4, like a smaller yet equally capable sibling of the DeskPi Pro V2. It brings the convenience of a Raspberry Pi desktop with some really useful features. This case safely holds your Raspberry Pi 4 and smartly re - routes the ports to practical spots. At the rear, you'll find dual full - size HDMI ports, 3.5mm audio, 2x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, Ethernet, and USB - C power. The side offers GPIO access through a soft cover, and at the front, there are 2x USB 2.0 ports (config required), micro - SD access, an illuminated power button (config required), and an LED indicator. Inside the case, there's a re - routing PCB with a PWM - controllable fan attached to a heatsink for active cooling. The ABS plastic body has great ventilation, and rubber feet ensure stable operation with minimal vibrations. You can even mount it on the wall! Assembly is needed, and Raspberry Pi OS Configuration is necessary for fan control, enabling front USB ports, and the power button. It may not work on other operating systems. Check the GitHub page for more details. The package includes the DeskPi Lite case, an ABS case, an internal re - routing PCB, a heatsink + fan unit, thermal pads, fixings, and a printed manual. Note that the Raspberry Pi is not included.

Using the DeskPi Lite is quite straightforward. First, you'll need to assemble the case. Just follow the instructions in the printed manual that comes with it. After assembly, place your Raspberry Pi 4 inside the case. You'll then need to configure the Raspberry Pi OS to enable features like the fan control, front USB ports, and the power button. Head over to the GitHub page for step - by - step guides on these settings. When using the case, make sure it's placed on a flat surface. The rubber feet will keep it steady and reduce vibrations. If you want to wall - mount it, follow the appropriate fixing instructions. For maintenance, keep the ventilation on the ABS plastic body clear of dust. You can use a soft brush to gently clean it. Remember, this case is designed mainly for Raspberry Pi 4 with Raspberry Pi OS, so it may not work properly on other operating systems.
