Cherry MX Keyswitches are premium mechanical keyboard switches. They offer a satisfying 'clicky' feel and can endure tens of millions of key presses, making them a global standard for gaming and programming keyboards. The 'blue' version of the Cherry MX Switch is a favorite among users. Thanks to its secondary internal actuator, it has a lower chance of 'double - tapping'. If you want an audibly distinct and high - quality key switch, this is the ideal choice. Most Cherry MX Switches, like the blue MX1A - E1NW we offer, have a 3mm LED slot in their body. The switch has a weighting of around 50cN. Note: If you're looking for an easy way to integrate this switch into your project, check out our breakout board! CLICK HERE! Features: SPST contact form, 10mA current rating, 12V voltage rating, 50cN switch weighting, and a 3mm LED slot. Documents: Datasheet (MX1A - E1NW), Cherry MX Switch Breakout Guide.

Using the Cherry MX Switch is quite simple. Just install it on your keyboard according to the standard keyboard switch installation method. When using it, you'll enjoy that distinct 'clicky' sound with each keystroke. As for maintenance, keep your keyboard clean. You can use a soft brush to remove dust from the switch. Be careful not to apply excessive force when pressing the keys, as although it's very durable, too much pressure might affect its lifespan. Also, if you want to add lighting, simply insert a 3mm LED into the slot on the switch body. If you're integrating it into a project, refer to the Cherry MX Switch Breakout Guide for easy installation.
