This is the Actobotics Nomad 4WD Off-Road Chassis kit, an incredibly easy-to-assemble robotic platform that can take you to places ordinary chassis can't reach. What sets this chassis kit apart is not only its numerous attachment points for various add - ons but also its high configurability to meet your specific needs. Whether you want to adjust the distance between the off - road wheels, replace a motor due to damage or specific requirements, or attach a different type of channel or panel to the main body for more attachment points, it can all be done quickly with a simple hex key. This chassis comes with four 5' diameter by 2.25' wide heavy - duty wheels, four super - duty planetary gearmotors with full - metal gears, and a ball - bearing pivot suspension. The 4WD Off - Road Chassis kit also includes a large central ABS plastic body with two large access panels. The cavity inside is big enough to comfortably fit a 7.2V NiCAD/NiMH or other lipo battery and electronics. The central body has many 0.77' hub patterns, cutouts at the bottom for motor wires, and drilling holes for additional mounting is easy as it's made of ABS plastic. Actobotics is a robotics building system based on extruded aluminum channels, gears, precision shafts, and ball bearings. Thanks to two standardized hole patterns, most Actobotics components can be easily connected.
