This amazing 3 - in - 1 cable is a great addition to your power setup. It can serve as an extension cord for any 5.5/2.1mm DC power cable. With heavy 24 AWG wires, it can handle up to 5A of current. You can also split it into two barrel cables (one plug and one jack). This allows you to connect a 'wall wart' to a breadboard or PCB without soldering a big power jack. Or use the plug part to connect batteries to a device with a 2.1mm jack. It's 5 feet/1.5 meters long, giving you plenty of reach.

How to use: First, if you want to use it as an extension cord, just connect it between your 5.5/2.1mm DC power cable and the device. If you need two separate cables, carefully cut it in half. To connect a 'wall wart' to a breadboard or PCB, use the jack part. And to connect batteries to a device with a 2.1mm jack, use the plug part. Note: As of October 7th, 2015, we're selling a revised version with 24 AWG. Maintenance: Keep the cable clean and avoid bending it sharply or pulling it too hard. Store it in a dry place when not in use.
