The included Matrix HAT is our best yet, packed with great circuitry. Here's what makes it special: Simple design - just plug in power, connect the IDC cable, and run our Python code! Power protection circuitry safeguards your setup from negative, over, or under - voltages. Onboard level shifters convert the RasPi's 3.3V to 5.0V for a clean and glitch - free matrix drive. The DS1307 Real Time Clock keeps track of time even when the Pi is rebooted or powered down, perfect for nice time displays. Remember, this product doesn't come with a Raspberry Pi 3, but for a limited time, you can get one in the pack from Arrow.
