The included Matrix HAT is our best yet, packed with great circuitry. Here's what makes it special: Simple design - just plug in power, connect the IDC cable, and run our Python code! Power protection circuitry safeguards your setup from negative, over, or under - voltages. Onboard level shifters convert the RasPi's 3.3V to 5.0V for a clean and glitch - free matrix drive. The DS1307 Real Time Clock keeps track of time even when the Pi is rebooted or powered down, perfect for nice time displays.
