This is just the base of the Raspberry Pi Model B+ / Pi 2 case. You can select lids from the list on the right and see some cool combos in the photos above. This is a pink base that brings to mind dragonfruit, Lisa Frank folders, and Ladyada's hair. Check out other colors from the dropdown on the right. Designed by Mike Doell, this enclosure is made of ultra - durable, super - glossy polycarbonate. It looks great and is tough enough to toss into your bookbag or toolbox. It has slim cable openings, an easy - to - remove beveled slot for your Micro SD card, slots for your Pi Camera and upcoming Display, and a space for your GPIO cable to extend from the Pi. The Pi snaps into the base and the lid fits snugly on top. You can use the case without the lid to easily add hats to your B+. This case is only for Raspberry Pi Model B+ / Pi 2 / Pi 3 Model B and Pi 3 Model B+. It doesn't work for Raspberry Pi Model A or B. It works with model A+ but there'll be some empty space, and you may need to snake your USB cable through the front holes if it's not too bulky. Note that no Raspberry Pi is included, and this is just the base with no lid.

Using this Raspberry Pi case is a breeze. First, make sure you have a Raspberry Pi Model B+ / Pi 2 / Pi 3 Model B or Pi 3 Model B+ (it won't work with Model A or B). Simply snap your Pi into the base. You can choose to use the base with or without a lid. If you want to add hats to your Pi, it's easier to do so without the lid. To connect your cables, use the slim openings provided. For your Micro SD card, there's an easy - to - remove beveled slot. And don't forget, there are slots for your Pi Camera and upcoming Display, as well as a space for your GPIO cable. When it comes to maintenance, since it's made of durable polycarbonate, you can give it a gentle wipe with a soft cloth to keep it clean. Just be careful not to use any harsh chemicals that might damage the super - glossy finish. Also, if you're using it with a model A+, expect a bit of empty space and plan your cable routing accordingly. Remember, this is just the base, so you'll need to get a Raspberry Pi and optionally, a lid separately.
