It combines the CCS811 and BME280 chips, offering high accuracy, an I2C interface, and rapid measurement. The BME280 provides temperature and humidity compensation for the CCS811, enhancing overall accuracy. This module can detect temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, altitude, TVOC, and eCO2. The CCS811 air quality sensor uses AMS's unique micro - hot plate technology. It has lower power consumption, a shorter preheating time, and a smaller size compared to conventional gas sensors. With an internally integrated ADC and MCU, it collects and processes data and returns it via I2C. The BME280 is a multi - functional environmental sensor that combines a temperature sensor, humidity sensor, and barometer on one board. It has high precision, small size, and offers a ±0.5℃ temperature error and ±2%RH humidity error, with stable performance in the detection temperature range. Note that the chip stretches the clock in I2C, so it may not be compatible with some controllers like the Raspberry Pi. Features include a short preheat time, low power consumption, fast response, high integration, and support for measuring multiple environmental data. Applications are diverse, including environmental monitoring, air purifiers, smart homes, ventilation systems, and weather forecasting.
