Using the MP2636 Power Booster and Charger Module is a breeze. First, find a lipo battery and plug it into the module. It'll start working like a power bank right away. When you want to charge the battery, connect an external power supply to the VIN port. You'll see the CHG led light up, indicating that the charging process has begun. If there's no external power, the module will switch to Boost mode and use the battery power.
Here are some important things to keep in mind. Make sure the input voltage in charge mode is between 4.5V and 6.0V, and the output voltage in Boost mode is 5V. Also, this module is suitable for batteries with a voltage of 4.2V. Don't exceed the maximum charge current of 2.5A in charge mode and the maximum output current of 2.5A in Boost mode.
For maintenance, keep an eye on the temperature. If the temperature goes above 150 °C, the module will automatically cut off the power to protect itself. Just let it cool down and it should be ready to use again. That's all you need to know to get the most out of your MP2636 module.
