This compact power meter is a great alternative to our USB In-Line Voltage and Current Meter. It can handle a wide range of voltages, not just USB connections. With a small LCD display, it shows voltage, watts, amps, and mAH in an instant, making it perfect for testing devices like chargers, cables, and cell phones. It also has some nice extras, such as showing the ambient temperature and calculating cumulative Watt-hours and milliAmp-hours over time. It's an all-in-one power management solution that requires no calculation or data logging on your part. You can power it from the source it's measuring (it has a quiescent current of about 20mA and needs at least 3V), or use a JST connector or a power-only micro USB socket. It comes with 1 x 2-pin JST Connector, 2 x Positive Alligator Test Clips, and 2 x Negative Alligator Test Clips.

Using this power meter is easy. First, decide how you want to power it. You can either let it self - power from the power source it's measuring, but remember it has a quiescent current of about 20mA and needs at least 3V. Or, you can use the JST connector or the power - only micro USB socket for separate power. Once it's powered, connect it to the device you want to test, like a charger or a cell phone, using the provided alligator test clips. The LCD display will instantly show you the voltage, watts, amps, and mAH. You'll also see the ambient temperature and the cumulative Watt - hours and milliAmp - hours over time. As for maintenance, keep it in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If you're not using it for a long time, store it safely. And always make sure the connections are secure when you're using it to get accurate readings.
