This tiny straight bar load cell, also known as a strain gauge, can turn up to 500g of pressure into an electrical signal. It measures electrical resistance that changes according to the strain (like pressure or force) on the bar. You can use it to find an object's weight, track weight changes over time, or just detect an object by measuring the strain on a surface. Made from aluminum - alloy, it has a 500g capacity. Four strain gauges are arranged in a wheatstone bridge. The wiring color code is red = Exc+, green = Sig+, black = Exc-, and white = Sig-. It comes with an IP65 protection rating and four M3 through - holes for easy mounting.

Using this load cell is easy. First, mount it securely using the four M3 through - holes on a stable surface. Connect the wires according to the color code: red for Exc+, green for Sig+, black for Exc-, and white for Sig-. To measure an object's weight, place the object on the surface where the load cell can sense the strain. The load cell will convert the pressure into an electrical signal. When using it, make sure not to exceed the 500g capacity as it may damage the load cell. Also, keep it away from excessive moisture since it has an IP65 protection rating but isn't completely waterproof. For maintenance, clean it gently with a dry cloth. Check the wiring regularly to ensure there are no loose connections or damages. If you notice any problems, stop using it and consult the manufacturer.
