Product Details

These motors are truly unique! They're perfect for projects that require a small, geared - down motor. The heart of this motor is a 'pager motor', a slim DC motor that operates on around 3VDC. It's housed inside a red - plastic body, where the motor is geared down. The output axle is connected to a plastic triangle with a bent - wire return spring, and there are two plastic stops on the motor's exterior. When the plastic triangle is attached, applying forward or reverse voltage makes the motor swing back and forth, with a range of about 60 degrees from the center (120 degrees in total). Once the power is removed, the self - centering spring brings the triangle back to the middle. You can also remove the triangle, and you'll get a normal rotating axle for small - scale rotation. These motors are not only unique but also budget - friendly, so you're likely to find great uses for them. Each order comes with 1 motor.

Using this motor is quite easy. If you want the swinging motion, keep the plastic triangle attached. Apply forward or reverse voltage to make it swing. The swing range is about 60 degrees from the center. When you stop the power, the spring will bring it back to the middle. If you need a normal rotating axle, just remove the triangle piece. When handling the motor, be gentle with the plastic parts to avoid breakage. For maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to excessive moisture or dirt. If you notice any abnormal noises or performance issues, check the power supply and connections. These motors are built to last, but proper care will ensure they serve you well for a long time.
