Product Details

The MicroPython Pyboard v1.1 is a super - compact and highly - powerful electronics development board. It runs MicroPython, connecting to your PC via USB. Once connected, it acts like a USB flash drive for saving Python scripts and offers a serial Python prompt for quick programming. This board comes with soldered headers as shown in the pictures. The female HDR - PD8 header pins, with 56 total positions, are compatible with standard 0.65mm square male pins (Arduino style). At its core, it has a STM32F405RG microcontroller with a 168 MHz Cortex M4 CPU, 1024KiB flash ROM, and 192KiB of RAM. It also features a microUSB connector for power and serial comms, a microSD card slot, an MMA7660 3 - axis accelerometer, 31 GPIO, four LEDs, a reset switch, and a user switch. You can choose between a version with headers and one without. MicroPython, a rewritten Python 3.4, runs efficiently on this microcontroller with low RAM usage. It gives you a Python operating system on the pyboard, and the built - in pyboard module helps control board peripherals like UART, I2C, SPI, ADC, and DAC.

Using the MicroPython Pyboard v1.1 is easy. First, connect the board to your PC via the microUSB connector. You'll then be able to save your Python scripts like you would on a regular USB flash drive. To start programming right away, use the serial Python prompt. When handling the board, be gentle with the soldered headers as they can be fragile. Avoid exposing the board to extreme temperatures or moisture. For maintenance, keep the board clean and free from dust. If you're not using the microSD card slot, cover it to prevent debris from getting in. And remember, if you run into any issues, the built - in pyboard module has useful functions to control the board's peripherals. Have fun with your electronics projects!
