Clear Plastic 60% / GH60 Keyboard Shell

Back in the old days, getting a mechanical keyboard meant buying a huge IBM Model M. But now, you can create your own compact keyboard with your favorite layout and make your dream keeb! For all the DIY keeb fans out there, here's a Clear Plastic 60% (GH60) Keyboard Shell. It's the ideal starting point for your custom keyboard project, especially if you love a translucent base that can show off your glowing LEDs. It costs a lot less than a milled and anodized aluminum shell. Although it's not as heavy, durable, or flat, it's a great starter shell. Just provide a PCB in the common 'GH60' size and bolt it into this base. It comes with four anti - slip stickers and mechanical screw hardware. Note: This is just the keyboard shell. Don't forget to get some keycaps and switches. We also have a purple anodized aluminum version.

Using this keyboard shell is easy. First, get a PCB in the common 'GH60' size. Then, bolt the PCB into the base of the shell. You're ready to start building your custom keyboard. Remember, this is just the shell, so you'll need to buy keycaps and switches separately. When it comes to maintenance, keep it away from sharp objects to avoid scratches on the clear plastic. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth to keep it clean. And don't expose it to extreme temperatures as it might affect the shape and quality of the plastic.
