Product Details

Micro - switches are super useful components. You'll commonly spot them in arcade buttons and joysticks. But they're also a great asset in all sorts of mechatronics projects or when you need a simple sensor. These switches offer a tactile clicky feel and are momentary, closing when you press them and snapping open once you let go. There are different types, mainly varying in contacts and actuator size. This particular microswitch features a small bump actuator, and we also have models with a lever, roller lever, and long wire. Compared to other generic micro - switches we stock, this one stands out with its higher quality and better specs. It's a basic micro switch perfect for arcade machines and mini robots. While we don't have detailed specs, it's recommended for use with a maximum of 30VDC and 250mA. It's an excellent replacement for arcade controls.

Using this micro switch is easy. Just connect it to your arcade button, joystick, or mechatronics project according to the basic electrical wiring principles. When you press the switch, it will close the circuit, and when you release it, the circuit will open. Note that this switch is recommended for a maximum of 30VDC and 250mA, so don't exceed these limits to avoid damage. To maintain this switch, keep it clean and dry. Avoid getting it wet or exposing it to extreme temperatures. If it gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a dry cloth. This will help ensure it continues to work well for a long time.
