This alphanumeric 16-button keypad is designed for easy user input. Its buttons are arranged in a matrix, allowing a microcontroller to scan 8 output pins to detect which button is pressed. Each of the 16 buttons is labeled 1, 2, 3, A, 4, 5, 6, B, 7, 8, 9, C, 0, *, #, and D, following a telephone keypad layout. The keypress resistance ranges from 10 to 625 Ohms.
