This 4-wire cable is just over 100mm (about 4 inches) long. It has JST-SH female 4-pin connectors on both ends. Unlike the bulkier JST-PH connectors, these have a 1mm pitch instead of 2mm, yet they offer a great latching feel and are super easy to plug in and take out. It's perfect for use with Qwiic boards, allowing you to effortlessly connect sensors and drivers between boards. The cable is symmetrical, so you don't have to worry about which end goes where. When used with Qwiic, the wire colors indicate: Red for 3.3VDC Power, Black for Ground, Blue for I2C SDA Data, and Yellow for I2C SCL Clock. For more details on JST SH connectors, check the JST website.

Using this cable is a breeze. Just connect the JST - SH female 4 - pin connectors on each end to your Qwiic boards, sensors, or drivers. Since the cable is symmetrical, you don't need to stress about getting the orientation right. Remember, when connecting, match the wire colors to their corresponding functions on the device: red for power, black for ground, blue for data, and yellow for clock. As for maintenance, keep the cable away from sharp objects that could cut it. Avoid bending it at extreme angles as this might damage the internal wires. If it gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a dry cloth. When not in use, store it in a cool, dry place to prevent any damage.
