Product Details

This remarkable infrared proximity contactless button is an excellent alternative to traditional push buttons, especially in scenarios where touching the button is neither necessary nor preferred, which is quite relevant these days. It comes with a built - in microcontroller that effectively deals with interference and noise. A red/blue status LED provides clear visual feedback to let you know when a 'touch' is registered. On the back of the device, two potentiometers give you the flexibility to adjust the read range from 3 to 15 cm and set the 'open time' anywhere from 0.5 to 20 seconds. It's housed in a fire and IR - resistant polycarbonate enclosure, making it durable and suitable for various surfaces. With a 39.7mm diameter, it can be easily installed on most panels. **Features:** - Built - in microcontroller to decode infrared signals and avoid noise interference. - Bi - color status LED (Red when powered on, Blue when in proximity). - Adjustable proximity range from 3 to 15 cm (default is 15 cm). - Support for adjustable opening time from 0.5 to 20 seconds (default is 0.5 seconds), or latched ON or OFF output. - Polycarbonate enclosure that is fire and UV - proof. - 39.7mm diameter (full dimensions in datasheet) **Documents:** - Datasheet

Using this infrared proximity contactless button is a breeze. First, install it on the panel or surface of your choice. It can fit through most panels easily due to its 39.7mm diameter. Once installed, power it on. You'll see the red status LED light up, indicating that it's powered. To adjust the range at which the button senses proximity, use the potentiometers on the back. You can set it anywhere from 3 to 15 cm. If you want to change how long the button stays 'open' after sensing proximity, use the other potentiometer to set the time between 0.5 to 20 seconds. When an object comes within the set range, the blue LED will light up, showing that a 'touch' has been registered. Here are some important things to note. Make sure the installation area is dry and clean. Avoid exposing the button to direct sunlight for long periods as it might affect the UV - proof polycarbonate enclosure. When it comes to maintenance, simply wipe the surface of the button with a soft, dry cloth. If you encounter any issues, refer to the datasheet for more detailed troubleshooting information.
