Product Details

Meet your new cute little friend! The TJBot, a do - it - yourself kit, lets you have a blast while coding your very own AI robot. Powered by IBM Watson, it offers open - source step - by - step recipes for Raspberry PI, enabling you to connect your TJBot to Watson developer services. Whether you want to chat with it or teach it to dance, TJBot uses a Raspberry Pi to connect to Watson Services and control hardware components. You can use the featured recipes on Github and Instructables or create your own and share them with the world. TJBot represents 'embodied cognition', bringing Watson technologies into a cardboard cutout and hinting at a future where AI is in our daily objects. The kit includes a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, Raspberry Pi Camera Board v2, Micro Servo, Mini USB Microphone, Mini External USB Stereo Speaker, jumper wires, power supply, NeoPixel LEDs, a 16GB card with NOOBS 2.8, and a TJBot chipboard and frame. Resources include exploring AI, getting to know TJBot, accessing and contributing code on Github, and following recipes on Instructables. When folding the chipboard, be careful as it won't bend the other way once folded. If a piece breaks, use tape or glue. For a more durable TJ, 3D print it.

Using TJBot is super easy. First, follow the open - source step - by - step recipes to connect the components in the kit, like the Raspberry Pi and the sensors, to Watson developer services. Then, you can start coding according to the featured recipes on Github and Instructables or come up with your own. You can chat with TJBot, teach it to dance, or do other fun things. When folding the chipboard, take your time and make sure you're bending in the right direction. If a piece breaks off, don't panic. Just grab some tape or glue to fix it. To keep your TJBot in good shape, avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and humidity. If you want a sturdier TJBot, consider 3D printing it. Have a great time exploring the world of AI with TJBot!
