The HCR Mobile Robot Kit is an exciting two-wheel drive platform with a three-level design. You have the flexibility to use only the parts you need or create a two-level robot. It comes with two motors, two wheels, an omni-directional wheel, and hardware like metal plates. The support structure includes servos and sensors, along with special interfaces for a mini-ITX motherboard. As the second generation of DFRobot's HCR platform, it features new motors, wheels, and upgraded sensors. Now, it has six ultrasonic sensors for six-direction surveillance. Our custom high-quality DC motor offers high torque, an integrated encoder, and quiet operation, meeting the needs of a common PID speed controller. The new HCR platform also has new expandability options, such as a bracket for installing Microsoft Kinect. This kit includes 5 sharp distance sensors and a Romeo robotic microcontroller. You can choose other accessories according to your requirements, like a Dual 15A High-power Motor Driver and 6 Ultrasonic Sensors. Using the HCR Mobile Robot Kit is a breeze. First, refer to the Instruction Manual V2.1 and watch the Assembly Video to put the kit together. You can customize it based on your needs, using only the parts you want or building a two - level robot. When using the robot, the six ultrasonic sensors will help it monitor six directions, keeping it aware of its surroundings. The sharp distance sensors can detect objects within 10 - 80 cm. You can also expand the robot's capabilities by installing a Microsoft Kinect using the provided bracket. Remember to handle the robot carefully as it has a payload limit of 10kg. Don't overload it to avoid damaging the motors. For maintenance, keep the robot clean and free of dust. Check the motors and sensors regularly for any signs of wear or damage. If you have any issues, refer to the Google code and Wiki for solutions. Also, make sure to use the correct tools from the shipping list, like the socket head wrench and spanner, for any adjustments or repairs.
