The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is growing fast, and we aim to make it super accessible. We know there are other great systems out there, too. That's where this Qwiic to STEMMA Adapter Cable comes in. It lets you connect the SparkFun Qwiic Connect System with Adafruit's I2C - based STEMMA boards. You can plug your Adafruit boards into the Qwiic bus or use this cable to add Qwiic sensors, inputs, and outputs to your Grove system. This 500mm long cable has 4 conductors, with a Qwiic termination on one end and a STEMMA termination on the other. Remember, STEMMA supports 3.3V to 5V, while Qwiic is 3.3V only. So, always check that the devices at both ends of the cable can handle the same voltage. The SparkFun Qwiic connect system simplifies prototyping. All Qwiic - enabled boards use a 1mm pitch, 4 - pin JST connector, which saves PCB space and has polarized connections to prevent wrong hook - ups.

Using this cable is easy. First, identify the Qwiic and STEMMA terminations on the cable. Connect the Qwiic end to your Qwiic - enabled device and the STEMMA end to your Adafruit STEMMA board or other compatible device. When using it, always double - check that the devices at both ends support the same voltage, as STEMMA can handle 3.3V to 5V while Qwiic is 3.3V only. For maintenance, keep the cable away from sharp objects to avoid cuts. Also, store it in a dry place when not in use. If you notice any signs of damage, like frayed wires, it's best to replace the cable to ensure proper functionality.
