Product Details

The Crow Pyboard is an incredibly powerful electronics development board that runs MicroPython. Just connect it to your PC via USB, and you'll get a USB flash drive to save your Python scripts and a serial Python prompt for instant programming. With this board, you can access a low - level Python operating system to control various electronics projects. At its core, it has a STM32F405RG microcontroller with a 168 MHz Cortex M4 CPU, 1024KiB flash ROM, and 192KiB of RAM. Each board comes with a microUSB connector for power and serial communications, a microSD card slot, an MMA7660 3 - axis accelerometer, 31 GPIO, four LEDs (red, green, yellow, and blue), a reset switch, and a user switch. MicroPython is a rewritten version of Python 3.4 for microcontrollers. It's highly optimized, runs efficiently, and uses very little RAM. It runs bare - metal on the pyboard, giving you a Python operating system. The built - in pyboard module helps control board peripherals like UART, I2C, SPI, ADC, and DAC. Key features include a microUSB connector for power and serial communication, a Real - Time Clock (RTC) with optional battery backup, multiple GPIO, and a DFU bootloader in ROM for easy firmware upgrading. Specifications involve details like the microcontroller, CPU speed, memory, converters, and other components. The package includes one Crow Pyboard, and there are useful quick references, tutorials, and a user manual available.

Using the Crow Pyboard is quite simple. First, connect it to your PC via the microUSB connector. Once connected, you can use the USB flash drive feature to save your Python scripts and the serial Python prompt for immediate programming. When working on electronics projects, you can use the low - level Python operating system provided by the board to control different elements. Make sure to handle the board gently as it has delicate components. When using the microSD card slot, insert and remove the card carefully to avoid damage. For power, the input voltage range is 3.6V to 16V, so use a suitable power source. To keep the board in good condition, avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you need to upgrade the firmware, the DFU bootloader in ROM makes it easy. Just follow the instructions in the user manual. Also, refer to the quick reference and tutorial pages for more in - depth knowledge and tips on using the board effectively.
