Just insert a Sony NP-F550 battery (widely available), then adjust the LED panel to your liking. It offers color temperatures from about 3200K (warm) to 5600K (cool) and adjustable brightness up to 11W. The kit comes with a pan tilt shoe mount base. Note that the camera battery isn't included; you'll need an NP-F type battery. We're big fans of these lights and use them often for portable shoots. Using this Camera-Mount LED Photography Light is easy. First, get a Sony NP-F550 battery and insert it into the light. Then, you can adjust the color temperature to either a warm 3200K or a cool 5600K using the color temperature knob. You can also control the brightness with the dimmer knob up to 11W. The pan tilt shoe mount base allows you to position the light as you need. To check the battery balance, just press the testing button.
