Product Details

This AdaBox offers a multi-sensory experience with lights, sound, and squishy buttons. It comes with a NeoTrellis M4, a 4x8 grid of silicone buttons with a NeoPixel behind each for a rainbow display. Powered by an ATSAMD51 microcontroller, it has stereo audio channels and microphone input. The NeoTrellis M4 can be a synthesizer, drum - machine, MIDI keyboard, audio filter, sampler, or a simple game machine - it's up to you! Thanks to sponsorship from Analog Devices and Digi - Key, it includes a triple - axis accelerometer (ADXL343) so your lights and music can respond to movement. Note: This is not the subscription version and doesn't include free shipping. International customers outside the UK, France, and Germany can get it this way. Subscribers who missed earlier boxes can enjoy it while waiting for AdaBox 011. The box includes an Adafruit NeoTrellis M4 Mainboard, silicone elastomer button keypads, an acrylic enclosure kit, a stand, cables, a USB cable, earbuds, an audio jack terminal block, a potentiometer, resistors, and capacitors. Visit adafruit.com/adabox010 for unboxing, learn.adafruit.com/adabox010 for tutorials, and forums.adafruit.com/adabox to discuss projects.

Using your AdaBox 010 is a breeze. First, unbox all the components and familiarize yourself with them. Connect the cables as needed, like the I2C STEMMA cables and the Micro B USB cable. The NeoTrellis M4 can be used right away. You can use it as a synthesizer by connecting the audio jack terminal block and earbuds. To make your lights and music react to movement, the built - in ADXL343 accelerometer will do the work automatically. For the potentiometer and resistors, you can adjust them to fine - tune your projects. Remember, this is not the subscription version and there's no free shipping. Keep your AdaBox in a dry and clean place to prevent damage. If you're not using it for a while, disconnect the power source.
