This fantastic LoRa Antenna Kit is designed to work seamlessly with the LoPy LoRa, WiFi, and BLE board, or the SiPy Sigfox, WiFi, and BLE board. It's also a great fit for any 900MHz radio, including our LoRa breakouts/Feathers and the RFM69 900MHz radios we stock! The kit includes an external antenna, RF Cable Assemblies SMA(F) JK - IPEX MHF U.FL 1.13 100MM, and an RP - SMA Tilt Swivel 1/2 Wave Whip antenna to match with RP - SMA connectors. Remember, using the LoRa/Sigfox radio without the external antenna can damage the device, so it's not recommended.
To use this 900Mhz Antenna Kit, first, connect the external antenna to your device using the provided RF cable assembly. Make sure the connections are secure. Then, if you're using the RP - SMA Tilt Swivel 1/2 Wave Whip antenna, attach it to the appropriate RP - SMA connector on your device. As a reminder, never use the LoRa/Sigfox radio without the external antenna as it can cause damage. For maintenance, keep the antenna clean and dry. Check the connections regularly to ensure they're tight and in good condition. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, it's best to replace the affected parts.
