The PL2303 USB to UART (TTL) Communication Module comes with Micro, Mini, Type A, and Type C connectors. It features stable transmission, is multi - device applicable, and compatible with Windows. This module uses the new PL2303GS chip. It supports Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, 11 and more. You can set 3 VCCIO power modes via jumper: 5V output, 3.3V output, or power from the target board (1.8V/2.5V/3.3V/5V). There are 3 LED indicators: TXD, RXD, PWR. It offers version options of USB Type A, Type C, micro, and mini connectors. For hardware connection with an MCU, follow the specific rules. Note that this module is only compatible with TTL level, don't connect it directly to RS232 circuit. The product comes with a PL2303 USB UART Board and a 4 - pin custom connector jumper wire. Using this PL2303 USB to UART module is easy. First, choose the right connector type (USB Type A, Type C, micro, or mini) according to your needs. If you're using it with an MCU, connect the pins as follows: Connect VCCIO to 3.3V or 5V output and short the onboard jumper to the corresponding voltage. Connect GND to GND, TXD to MCU.RX, and RXD to MCU.TX. You can set the VCCIO power mode via the jumper. You have three options: 5V output, 3.3V output, or power from the target board. Just be careful!
