Designed by Mike Doell, this enclosure is made of ultra - durable, super - glossy polycarbonate. It's good - looking and tough enough to be tossed into your bookbag or toolbox. It has slim cable openings, an easy - to - remove beveled slot for your Micro SD card, slots for your Pi Camera and upcoming Display, and a space for your GPIO cable to extend from the Pi. The Pi snaps into the base, and the lid fits snugly on top. You can use the case without the lid to easily add hats to your A+. Note that this case is only for the Raspberry Pi Model A+ and does not work for the Raspberry Pi Model A, B, B+, or Pi 2. Also, no Raspberry Pi is included, and this is just the base with no lid.
Using this Raspberry Pi Model A+ case base is easy. First, just snap your Raspberry Pi into the base. If you have a lid, it fits snugly on top. You can also use the case without the lid to add hats to your A+ easily. When selecting a color, use the dropdown on the right. Remember, this case is only for the Raspberry Pi Model A+ and won't work with other models like A, B, B+, or Pi 2. Also, there's no Raspberry Pi or lid included. To keep your case in good condition, since it's made of polycarbonate, avoid scratching it with sharp objects. You can clean it with a soft, dry cloth. If it gets dirty, use a mild soap and water solution, but make sure it's completely dry before using it again.
