Product Details

The MyoWare® 2.0 Muscle Sensor is super wearable, letting you attach biomedical sensor pads right to the board. But sometimes, you might want to place the sensor pads away from the board. That's where the MyoWare 2.0 Cable Shield steps in. It has a 3.5mm TRS jack to connect a traditional three - electrode sensor cable. So, you can test and use the muscle sensor without attaching the board to your body. This shield also has snap connectors on the board for easy stacking. Unlike other shields in the MyoWare 2.0 ecosystem, it snaps to the bottom of the MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensor. It's perfect for non - wearable projects in enclosures or targeting small or oddly - situated muscles where on - board electrode sockets aren't suitable. Note: MyoWare and the Cable Shield aren't for diagnosing, curing, treating, or preventing diseases in humans or animals. The MyoWare® 2.0 ecosystem has shields that easily interface with the low - cost, Arduino - compatible MyoWare® 2.0 Muscle Sensor. Its innovative connector system lets you snap shields together in a compact way and connect to a microcontroller's analog input to measure muscle electrical activity, no soldering needed. This product is a collaboration with Brian Kaminski from Advancer Technologies, and a part of each sale goes to them for support and development. Features include a MyoWare® 2.0 Muscle Sensor form factor with 3 male snap pins (input electrodes), 1 3.5mm TRS connector, and board dimensions of 37.57mm x 35.90mm (1.48” x 1.41”). There are also various documents like board dimensions, hookup guides, and more. This product is patent - protected, and design files aren't shared to prevent counterfeits.

Using the MyoWare 2.0 Cable Shield is quite easy. First, if you want to use a traditional three - electrode sensor cable, plug it into the 3.5mm TRS jack on the shield. This way, you can test the muscle sensor without attaching the main board to your body. If you're working on a project where you need to stack shields, use the snap connectors on the board. Just snap this shield to the bottom side of the MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensor. Remember, this product isn't for diagnosing, curing, treating, or preventing diseases in humans or animals. When it comes to maintenance, keep the board clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If you have any questions, refer to the provided documents like the hookup guide and quickstart guide. Also, since the product is patent - protected, don't try to access the non - shared design files as they're kept private to prevent counterfeits.
