It's a super - fun Wave shield party pack! Combine it with an Arduino and you can build your own iPod - beating device, create amazing audio art, or make a cool sound - effects box. What's inside? You'll get the latest Wave shield kit, which works with more SD cards and older NG Arduinos. It's unassembled, giving you the joy of building it yourself. There's also a 1 or 2 GB SD card (brand and size might vary, but we've tested them to ensure they work great). A 3 - inch diameter (77mm), 8 - ohm speaker with good response from 200Hz to 10KHz (the max frequency the Wave shield can produce) is included. It's rated for 1W, and you can even add a small amp between the shield and the speaker to turn up the volume. Some wire for connecting the speaker is also provided. Note: The Wave Shield isn't compatible with Mega or Leonardo boards.

Using this music sound add - on pack is easy. First, assemble the unassembled Wave shield kit. You can follow the basic instructions that usually come with Arduino projects. After assembling, insert the provided SD card into the Wave shield. Connect the speaker to the shield using the included wire. Now, connect your Arduino board to the Wave shield, and you're ready to start creating your audio projects. When using, keep in mind that the Wave Shield doesn't work with Mega or Leonardo boards, so make sure you're using a compatible Arduino. For maintenance, keep the SD card clean and free from dust. Don't expose the speaker to excessive moisture or heat. If you add an amp for extra volume, make sure it's properly connected and doesn't overload the speaker.
