Product Details

We're constantly on the hunt for versatile test lines for our power supplies. Whether you're measuring the current draw of your Feather or testing new LED samples, this test line is a game - changer. It's incredibly compact and features three of the most useful connectors at the end. It's perfect for bench - top equipment or multimeters with banana jacks. Each connector has two banana plugs that fit into your power supply or multimeter. On the other end, you've got three great options: red and black alligator clips, red and black mini - grabbers, and a USB A jack. That's a whole lot of functionality in one single unit! There's also a yellow and green wire set for USB power pins (not data pins), but we found them a bit confusing and cut them off at home. These test lines aren't rated for temperature, voltage, or current, so we suggest using them for up to 12VDC and up to 2 Amps.

Using this power supply test line is easy. First, connect the two banana plugs on each connector to your power supply or multimeter. Then, depending on your needs, choose from the three options on the other end: alligator clips, mini - grabbers, or the USB A jack. For example, if you're working with a circuit board, the alligator clips can hold onto components easily. When using the USB A jack, remember the yellow and green wires are for power pins only. As for the limitations, this test line isn't rated for temperature, voltage, or current. So, make sure to use it with a maximum of 12VDC and 2 Amps to avoid any damage. In terms of maintenance, keep it clean and dry. If the wires get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a dry cloth. And if the confusing yellow and green wires bother you, you can cut them off just like we did at home.
