Introducing our beautifully modern Mood Light, a perfect addition to your bedside table, bookcase, or desk. This internet-connected light kit lets you build a sleek pendant-like light with 32 programmable RGB Neopixel LEDs on our Unicorn pHAT board. You can set it to a single color, make it fade through the rainbow, or use the built - in wireless LAN on the Pi Zero W. Assembly takes about 30 minutes (check our assembly guide). The kit includes a Pi Zero W, Unicorn pHAT, 2x20 pin headers, a white and yellow pendant light stand and diffuser, a 50cm USB A to micro - B cable, adaptors, a sticker sheet, and comes in a reusable box. Just add your own micro - SD card. Note, it's a soldering project, but you can use no - solder hammer headers. The stand mounts the Pi Zero W and Unicorn pHAT at the right angle for beautiful light diffusion. With the Pi Zero W's wireless LAN, you can connect it to Twitter or sync with sunset/sunrise times. Features include an 8x4 matrix of LEDs, a 3 - layer stand, an adaptor kit, a power cable, a Python library, and headers that need soldering. Our one - line installer sets up the Unicorn pHAT Python library, and we've included examples. The assembled size is 85x125x70mm (WxHxD).

Using this Mood Light is easy. First, gather all the parts from the kit and your own micro - SD card. If you're okay with soldering, use the provided male and female headers; otherwise, you can opt for no - solder hammer headers. Follow the assembly guide to put the light together, which should take around 30 minutes. Once assembled, use the one - line installer to set up the Unicorn pHAT Python library. You can then play around with the examples we've provided to set different colors or patterns. Connect the light to your Wi - Fi using the Pi Zero W's wireless LAN. You can connect it to your Twitter feed or get sunset/sunrise times from a weather server. When it comes to maintenance, keep the light in a dry place. Avoid touching the LEDs directly as it might damage them. If you need to clean the diffuser, use a soft, dry cloth.
