When dealing with tiny parts, you often need magnification and extra light. This monocle magnifier is a regular in our production facility. It features a 10x or 15x lens (you may receive either as we transition stock) with a working distance of about 1 - ½ feet. The 1 - inch diameter eye - piece fits comfortably around your eye, secured by a 15 - inch aluminum - core headband. The side - mounted LED provides ample light at the working distance, a great help for close - up inspections like viewing SMD connections. The LED battery comes pre - installed.
Using this monocle magnifier is easy. First, adjust the 15 - inch aluminum - core headband to fit your head comfortably. Then place the 1 - inch diameter eye - piece around your eye. Turn on the LED light to start your work. When using it, make sure the working distance is about 1 - ½ feet for the best view. Remember that you might receive either a 10x or 15x lens. For maintenance, keep the lens clean with a soft cloth. Don't expose the magnifier to extreme temperatures or moisture. If the LED battery runs out, replace it as needed.
